Why Is It Called Military Time? [Solved]
Military time is pretty straightforward: it’s just a way of counting hours from 0 to 23. So, instead of saying “eight o’clock in the morning,” you’d say “zero eight hundred.” It’s also useful for avoiding any confusion between a.m. and p.m., since there are no such distinctions in military time. Plus, it makes it easier to coordinate operations across different time zones since everyone is using the same system!
