Why Is It Called 2 1 Degree? [Solved]
Wow, getting a 2:1 is really something to be proud of! It’s the highest level of second class degree you can get, and it means you got between 60-70% in your exams. A 2.2 is still pretty good - it’s the lower level of second class degree and you got between 50-60%. And if you didn’t quite make it to a 2:1 or even a 2.2, don’t worry - there’s still the third class honours which is known as a ’third’ or 3rd and that means you got between 40-50%.
