Why Is He Named Saitama? [Solved]
Saitama’s name comes from way back! It’s mentioned in the Man’yōshū, an 8th century poetry anthology. It was originally called Sakitama District, which is now part of Gyōda city in Saitama Prefecture. Pretty cool, huh?
