Why Is Clf3 Large Dipole? [Solved]
Well, ClF3 has a net dipole ‘cause it’s T-shaped and the dipoles don’t cancel each other out. But BF3 doesn’t have one since it’s trigonal planar and the dipoles do cancel each other out. See?
