The animatronics are saying “It’s me!” because they want to kill the kids. It’s like they’re saying, “Hey there, it’s me! Come and play!” when really they mean, “Come and play - I’m gonna kill ya!” Meanwhile, the kids are stuck inside the animatronics and they’re shouting, “It’s us! We’re in here - we wanna be free!”
