Well, in France, public toilets don’t have seats ‘cause it’s just too much of a hassle to keep ’em clean. Y’know, if they’re not cleaned regularly, they get pretty gross and no one wants to sit on ’em anyway. So places that do have seats usually make sure they stay spick and span.
